BUSINESS VALUATION SERVICES

Thomas Franklin determines the equity value of partial and full business interests under a going-concern premise of value.  Many of its appraisals are prepared for tax purposes, including Trust & Estate matters, and litigation, such as Shareholder Disputes.  Calculating the equity value of a business involves considering the individual assets and liabilities of the enterprise, reviewing the economic and industry outlook of the business, and performing a comparative and trend analysis to evaluate the enterprise’s earning capacity.  Thus, Thomas Franklin’s business appraisers also have expertise with the valuation of intangible assets (such as trade names, patents, customer lists, and technology) and the valuation of debt instruments.  These analyses are performed for companies small and large and in a variety of industries.
